Claunnector
Connect your Mac's Mail, Calendar, and more to AI
A menubar‑resident application that exposes macOS data services—Mail, Calendar, Reminders, Contacts, Notes and Notifications—to local AI clients such as Claude and ChatGPT. It runs a single‑process MCP server bound to 127.0.0.1, keeping all communication on the machine and preventing remote access. The server provides full CRUD operations for each service, supporting features like markdown‑to‑HTML email handling, OAuth and IMAP/SMTP for Gmail, EventKit recurrence rules, and Apple Notes HTML content.
Users can create separate client profiles to grant AI tools granular permissions, selecting exactly which accounts, calendars, or folders are accessible. The menubar icon offers quick start/stop control, settings, notification history, and an audit log that records every tool call with timestamps and details. Configuration includes multiple mail accounts, login‑at‑startup, and one‑click installation of supported Claude desktop clients.
The design emphasizes privacy by keeping all data processing local, while providing native macOS notifications and a searchable audit trail for transparency. It targets developers and power users who want AI assistants to interact directly with their personal productivity data without external servers.
