FlowVision provides a macOS‑native browser for images and videos that arranges thumbnails in an adaptive waterfall (masonry) layout, allowing users to scroll through large collections smoothly. It includes built‑in video playback, HDR display support, and high‑quality scaling that minimizes moiré and other artifacts, while respecting the system’s light or dark appearance mode.

File management mirrors Finder‑like behavior, offering right‑click gestures for quick navigation between folders and a recursive mode that traverses subdirectories automatically. Performance optimizations keep the interface responsive even when handling thousands of files, and the application integrates seamlessly with macOS’s native look and feel.

The project is released under GPL‑3.0, contains no network activity or data collection, and can be built from source. It runs on macOS 11.0 or later, supporting both Apple Silicon and Intel hardware, and does not perform automatic updates, giving users full control over installation and upgrades.
