Lightshot

Lightshot is a screen‑capture utility for Windows and macOS that lets users select any region of the desktop and create a screenshot with two clicks. The interface is simple and intuitive, allowing quick capture and immediate access to basic editing tools. After taking a screenshot, users can upload it to Lightshot’s server and receive a short URL for sharing.

The application includes an online editor that can be used at the moment of capture or later, providing options to annotate, highlight, or modify the image. It also offers a “find similar images” feature that searches the web for visually related content based on a selected screen area.

Lightshot is distributed as freeware and is available as a desktop program as well as extensions for Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, and Opera, supporting multiple languages for a broad user base.
