Rocks'n'Diamonds is an arcade‑style game that emulates the classic Boulder Dash mechanics while adding support for multiple game engines such as BD, SP, and the native Boulder Dash engine. Players navigate levels filled with rocks, diamonds, and other elements, using movement options that include zigzag diagonal and sticky input, and can interact with features like infinite scrolling, caves without time limits, and music playback in the level editor.

The software includes a level editor that allows users to create and modify maps, with tools for handling text buffers, configurable menu texts, and graphic overrides. It also supports various level collections, notably the Emerald Mine Club set, which adds new environments such as “Emerald Caves” and updates graphics and sound compatibility.
