Streaker

Streaker is a cross‑platform menu bar utility that monitors a user’s GitHub contribution activity and displays key statistics such as the current streak, best streak, daily contributions, and yearly totals. The app updates its icon in real time to reflect whether the user has contributed today, is on a streak, or has not yet contributed, offering three visual themes (Flame, Tile, Octocat) for both light and dark modes.

It also provides a reminder notification to help users maintain their streaks, and all information is accessible directly from the menu bar without opening a web page. The project is open source, released under the MIT license, and can be installed from GitHub releases or built from source using Node.js and pnpm. Streaker targets developers and hobbyists who want a lightweight, always‑visible view of their GitHub contribution health.
