Support App

The Support App is a native macOS menu‑bar utility that gives users and help‑desk staff quick access to basic diagnostic information, allowing minor issues to be identified and addressed without leaving the desktop. It also centralises links to support channels and corporate resources such as websites, internal applications, and file servers, presenting them through a visually consistent interface that can reflect an organization’s branding.

Designed for macOS 14 and newer, the app is built with SwiftUI and can be deployed via Configurator Mode, exporting a configuration profile for use with device‑management services. This approach simplifies bulk configuration across managed Apple devices in enterprise environments. The project is maintained by Root3, a Dutch firm that provides Apple device management, consultancy, and support services.

Community support is available through the Mac Admins Slack channel and the GitHub issue tracker, while the application does not collect or transmit personal data. It is offered free of charge, with updates and documentation hosted on the project’s wiki.
