Tipi
Homeserver manager. One command setup, one click installs for your favorites self-hosted apps.
Runtipi is a self‑hosted homeserver orchestrator that runs on 64‑bit Linux and uses Docker to containerise services. A single command installs the core system, after which a web dashboard lets users add, configure, and monitor applications from an integrated App Store containing roughly three hundred pre‑packaged apps. The interface handles networking, reverse‑proxy setup, and SSL, allowing users to expose services locally or via Cloudflare tunnels without manual configuration.
The platform targets hobbyists and small‑scale operators who want to run media servers, AI agents, utilities, and other self‑hosted software without deep DevOps expertise. It offers one‑click installation and updates, backup and restore scheduling, and the ability to edit Docker‑Compose files and environment variables for fine‑grained control while preserving customisations across upgrades.
Runtipi is released under GPL‑3.0, is free of subscription fees, and is maintained by a volunteer community. Its source is written in TypeScript with NestJS and React, and it encourages contributions of new apps or features through documented contribution guides.
