TokenWatch runs quietly in the macOS menu bar and displays a live gauge of your Claude.ai session usage, including a burn‑rate estimate and a countdown to the next reset. It tracks weekly message limits separately for each Claude model (Opus, Sonnet, Haiku), shows per‑model progress bars, and color‑codes the status as you approach caps.

If you add an Anthropic Admin API key, the app also reports real‑time dollar spend, daily and monthly totals, and a short‑term trend chart, with optional CSV export for budgeting. Alerts can be customized by threshold, silenced during user‑defined quiet hours, and trigger a notification when a limit refreshes.

A separate analytics window offers daily bar charts, an hourly heatmap, and model‑breakdown donut charts for up to 30 days, while WidgetKit widgets provide a compact desktop glance at usage. All data remains on the Mac, and the tool requires only a quick login to start tracking.
