The application provides a graphical interface for creating and modifying BitTorrent metadata files, including standard *.torrent* files and uTorrent *.dat* files. Users can start a torrent from scratch, add or remove files, reorder entries, and adjust core metadata such as the torrent name, comment, publisher, URL, creation date, trackers, and author. An optional JSON view allows direct editing of the underlying data, while a binary‑tree view supports search and replace operations within the file structure.

Designed as a cross‑platform replacement for the older BEncode Editor, the tool offers drag‑and‑drop file opening, filter‑based removal of items from the file list, and a command‑line mode for scripted use. It supports multiple character encodings and provides translations for a wide range of languages, making it accessible to an international audience. The software runs on macOS as a core platform and is marked as stable for production use.
