NetFluss is a native macOS menu‑bar utility that continuously displays upload and download rates for every active network interface, including Wi‑Fi and wired connections. It presents precise metrics such as frequency bands, Wi‑Fi standards, security protocols, RSSI and signal‑to‑noise ratio, allowing users to monitor overall network traffic at a glance.

The app also identifies the top five bandwidth‑consuming processes on the system, offering extensive filtering options to focus on specific traffic sources. Integrated DNS management lets users switch between providers—including preset entries for services like Cloudflare and Quad9—with optional Touch ID confirmation, and the tool can monitor entire networks via Fritz!Box, UniFi or OpenWRT routers.

Built in Swift, NetFluss is open‑source and designed to be lightweight, consuming minimal system resources while remaining functional for system administrators and data‑conscious users who need real‑time insight into network performance directly from the menu bar.
