PPPC Utility

PPPC Utility is a macOS application (13.0 and newer) that enables users to build configuration profiles containing the Privacy Preferences Policy Control (PPPC) payload. Users add bundles or executables to the profile via drag‑and‑drop or the add button, then save the profile locally either signed or unsigned. The tool also supports importing existing signed or unsigned profiles for further editing.

The application can upload generated profiles directly to a Jamf Pro server. Authentication is performed with a bearer token, falling back to basic authentication for older Jamf Pro versions, and newer releases may use OAuth client credentials. Required API permissions include “Create macOS Configuration Profiles” and “Read Activation Code.” Depending on the Jamf Pro version, profiles may need to be signed before upload.

Development resources include a pre‑commit hook that formats Swift files with swift‑format, ensuring code consistency before each commit. The project is stable and maintained, with changelog tracking and releases available on GitHub.
