QSyncthingTray
Tray app for Syncthing
QSyncthingTray provides a status‑bar interface for the Syncthing file‑synchronization service. It runs in the system tray and displays connection counts, traffic statistics and graphs, and a list of recently synchronized files, allowing users to open the containing folders directly. The application can launch Syncthing and an optional notifier, pause synchronization with a single click, and give quick access to all shared folders, while also offering a built‑in view of the Syncthing web UI and support for authenticated HTTPS connections.
The tool is written in C++ using Qt and is available for macOS, Windows and Linux. Precompiled binaries are provided for Windows and macOS, and the source can be built with Qt 5.5+ using either QWebEngine, QtWebView or a native browser backend. System notifications report connection status, and the icon can be toggled to a monochrome style.
Intended for users who already run Syncthing, QSyncthingTray simplifies monitoring and control of the synchronization process from the desktop environment without requiring a web browser. It is a stable, cross‑platform utility that integrates directly with the operating system’s tray area.
