Stash
A web-based library organizer and player for your adult media stash, with auto-tagging and metadata scraping support.
Stash is a self‑hosted web application written in Go that lets users organize, tag, and stream personal collections of video and image files. Each file is represented as a scene or image, which can be rated and annotated with performers, tags, movies, studios, and custom markers that appear on the video scrubber. The interface supports browsing, filtering, and sorting across a wide range of formats, and it can extract metadata from filenames or retrieve it from external sites through community‑maintained scrapers.
The system runs on Windows, macOS, Linux, or via Docker, and it streams content directly to a browser on PCs, tablets, or phones. FFmpeg is required for media processing, and the application can be password‑protected to keep the library private. Documentation and an in‑app manual guide installation and usage.
Stash is released under the AGPL‑3.0 license, offering a free, open‑source solution without subscription fees. Its extensibility through plugins and support for both SFW and NSFW material make it suitable for anyone who wants a private, customizable media library.
